Your lecture had a few errors. Daniel Rowland was converted at Llandewibreffi, two miles from Llangeitho. The land for the new chapel was provided by his brother-in-law Mr Davies. The two clergy sent by the Bishop of St.David's to deliver the revocation were sent to Llandewibreffi. He then preached from the wall of the churchyard. The book to read is "Daniel Rowland", by Dr Effion Evans, published by The Banner of Truth Trust. Also read my article on the published website. Rowland was also a hymn writer but eclipsed by William Williams. There is a small exhibition at the church at Llangeitho. Wales is the land of Revivals, so many from 1732 through to 1812. Rowland was converted through Griffith Jones (who made the Welsh the most literate nation in Europe, Daniel Rowland was the means of the conversion of Thomas Charles of Bala, who is the originator of the Bible societies in 1804.
